What Is the Texas Travel Survey?

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) works to ensure that Texans have access to fast, efficient, safe, and reliable transportation. To support this work, TxDOT is sponsoring the Texas Travel Survey for Bryan and College Station to understand the transportation use and needs of residents like you. By participating in the survey, you’ll make an important contribution to TxDOT’s work to improve transportation in your community and use its resources wisely.

The survey asks about your daily transportation habits. How do you travel? How far do you go? How much does it cost? Our goal is to get a complete picture of transportation patterns in Bryan and College Station so that TxDOT can use its resources wisely and plan for future improvements. By taking part, you’ll help us understand how local roads, highways, public transportation, bike lanes, and sidewalks are used today, and how they can be improved to make travel better in the future. We want to hear from you no matter how little or how much you travel and what method of transportation you use.

* The Reward provided will be in the form of a gift card. TxDOT contracts with third parties to collect data on the travel practices of Texans on TxDOT facilities. These third parties may offer rewards to promote the collection of travel survey data.
